AIRankCard vs Profound: which one do you need?
Want to see where you stand first? Run the free check: 3 questions in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, no signup.
Profound and AIRankCard both look at the same thing: what AI assistants say when buyers ask about your category. They're built for very different buyers.
Profound in short
According to Profound's pricing page (checked October 31, 2026):
- Trial (free): 50 prompts run daily for 7 days on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, with limited AI Marketer credits. No history, exports or API.
- Enterprise (custom price): daily tracking with a tailored prompt plan, up to 9 answer engines (including Perplexity, Copilot, Claude and Google AI Mode), all-time history, CSV/JSON exports, API, SSO and SOC 2, and dedicated support.
- There's no published monthly price for brands. Agencies have a separate self-serve plan: Strategi's October 2026 review reports $99 a month plus $399 a month for each client workspace.
Where Profound is stronger: far more engines, daily tracking with all-time history, prompt volume data, AI agents that research and write content, AI traffic attribution, and enterprise security. It's built for marketing teams with budget and people to act on the data.
Its limits for a small business: after the trial, you talk to sales, and the price isn't public.
AIRankCard in short
- Free check: 3 buyer-style questions in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. Shows whether you were named, who was named instead, and which sites were cited.
- Report + Fix Kit: $19 one time. 10 questions × 3 AIs = 30 answers, top competitors, cited sites, and copy-paste fixes written for your business. See a sample.
Where AIRankCard is stronger: a public, one-time price, no sales call, no setup, and it hands you the fixes.
Its limits: it's a snapshot, not tracking. AI answers change daily, so one check is a sample. 3 AIs only, no team features, no history, and no promise you'll be recommended.
Which should you pick?
- You're a brand team that needs daily data across many AIs and has budget for a contract: Profound.
- You're a small business that wants to know once whether AI names you, and what to change: start with a one-time check.
Free manual test: ask each assistant "best [your service] in [your city]", write down who gets named, and open the cited sources. Those are the pages you need to be on.
